*Radiology Specialists of the Northwest*
RSN is a well-established, independent private group of 28 subspecialty radiologists and 2 Pas providing services at three hospitals and two imaging centers in Portland, Oregon.
Our main hospital is a large tertiary care facility that serves as a regional cancer center and primary stroke center. We are a fair-minded and equitable practice that places the highest value on quality and service to our community.
*Out-pt Duties:*
* Pre-procedure orders for all procedures requiring sedation
* Obtain informed consent & update/place H&P
* Rx orders for pain & nausea medications
*In-pt Duties:*
* Managing an in-house consult list for all CVL & DI procedures
* Have the MD team review the consult & approve or not the procedure
* Coordinate with the teams for scheduling
* Place the proper procedure order as well as labs needed, etc.
* Obtain informed consent & place a consult note
* Field calls to the mobile consult PA Phone
* Respond to all DI Rapid Response occurrences & manage situations until the RRT team arrives
* Follow up on a select patient’s post-procedure
*Independent procedures, those that do not require sedation:*
* FL: UGI, SBFT, diagnostic & therapeutic LP, joint aspiration & steroid injection, enema, cystogram, temporary central line placement, gastrostomy & gastrojejunostomy tube exchange
* US: paracentesis, thoracentesis, fluid collection aspiration, bicep tendon injection, Baker’s cyst aspiration & injection
* CT: SI joint injection
* Other: tunneled catheter removals, drain & chest tube removals
*Experience, Licensure, and Education Requirements*
* Graduate from an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program
* Must have at least 2-3 years of experience post-graduation working experience in IR and/or surgical experience
* State license
* ACLS/BLS certification
* National Provider Identifier (NPI)
* State of Oregon fluoroscopy license preferred (employer will assist)
*Hours:*
* 5 days /week. 0700- 1600 or 0800- 1700
* Once the candidate is independent, the plan is to go to 10-hour shifts 4 days/week.
* No weekends, holidays, or call

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
