About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Medical Director with a focus on Endocrinology to lead clinical development across cardiorenal programs. The successful candidate will be the senior clinical authority in the therapeutic area, driving integrated clinical strategy, and partnering with the CMO to shape and execute clinical development strategy. This role involves leading the design of Phase 1-4 trials, engaging with internal and external experts to ensure scientific rigor and regulatory alignment, and overseeing the execution of clinical programs. The Executive Medical Director will also be responsible for safety strategy, pharmacovigilance oversight, and ensuring compliance with global regulatory requirements. Additionally, the role includes leading regulatory strategy, key submissions, and representing the therapeutic area in global health authority interactions. Applicants for this role at the company should have a minimum of 3 years' of clinical development and/or medical affairs experience in the industry, with an M.D. required. Clinical training and practice experience, particularly within endocrinology, is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading clinical programs, a deep understanding of the scientific and competitive landscape, and the ability to translate this into development plans and long-range portfolio strategy. The role also requires a strong background in mentoring and talent development, as well as the ability to contribute to broader medical leadership strategy. The Executive Medical Director will be a key leader within the organization, with a focus on driving clinically meaningful programs and working with validated science to make a real impact on patients' lives.
