The Tomahawk program continues to grow and expand as a relevant deterrent against adversaries across the globe and is employed by multiple military organizations. This program is expected to remain in active service for the foreseeable future.
The successful candidate for the role of Associate Software Engineer will play a crucial role in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of non-embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle that meets industry, customer, and safety standards for the Tomahawk program, while adhering to strict government regulations. You will have the opportunity to review, analyze, and translate customer requirements into initial design of software products. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing, maintaining, enhancing and optimizing software products and functionalities for systems integrations. Additionally, you will debug and resolve issues identified to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software products. Position Responsibilities:Automate existing Computing Environment (CE) install and maintenance processes Implement current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks and changes in regulations relevant to software developmentExecute and document software research and development projectsBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Active U.S. Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI5+ years of experience with Ansible5+ years of experience with Linux operating systemsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Windows Environment (Windows 10/11, Windows Server)Infrastructure as Code (IAC)Knowledge of Windows Desktop DevelopmentProject Management Tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.)Azure DevOps Pipelines or other CI/CD toolsMicroservices or RESTful APIsAgile experienceStrong mathematical analysis skills or STEM degreeCompTIA Security+ certification or a degree in Computer ScienceDrug Free Workplace:We are a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits:We strive to deliver a total rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
