It is hard to put a price on helping others but we know how important you are and the value you provide our clients./ppCompensation Benefits:/pulliCompetitive pay ($14.00-$16.00 an hour)/liliPay may vary by location, level of training, number of people being cared for and type of shift/lili24/7 office staff support/liliA great working environment that values diverse cultures/liliPPE (personal protective equipment) provided/liliPAID orientation/liliContinued training through our on line learning system with State required Alzheimers and dementia training./liliOn-the-job training for unique client situations/li/ulpRecognition, celebrations and great team interactions!/ppPaid mileage for running errands or providing transportation for clients/ppResponsibilities:/pulliAssisting with the use of devices for aid in daily living (cane, walker, wheelchair or lift device)/liliAssisting with prescribed range of motion exercises/liliMeasuring and preparing special diets/liliMeasuring intake and output/liliApplication of an external (condom-type) catheter/liliAssisting with application of arm sling, arm splint or leg splint/liliAssisting with all personal care needs/li/ulpRequirements:/pp High school degree and/or a G.E.D. certificate/pp Six months experience as a Home Health Aide (HHA) and/or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) in health care (in homes or facilities) and successful completion of a State approved Nurses Aide or Home Health Aide (HHA) and/or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) course/pp Must have an empathetic attitude toward the care of the sick, and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job/pp Current CPR Certificate is recommended/pp Meets the requirements for employees providing direct patient care/ppProvide a current negative TB test or assessment/pp Read, write, speak and understand English and pass a skills test/pp Have a valid drivers license and use of an insured automobile for work or access to adequate transportation for you and your client./ppIf you need assistance with this application or hiring process to accommodate a disability, you may request an accommodation at any time by contacting us.
