Occupational Therapist Assistant

Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts

Assignment Details:

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Guaranteed Hours: 0

Requirements:

  • 1 year of OTA experience (Required)
  • Long-term care or rehab experience (Required)
  • COTA license (Required)

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Utilize evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
  • Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
  • Administer various rehabilitation procedures including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, and the use of assistive devices.
  • Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly with the supervising Occupational Therapist.
  • Document all required information in the electronic documentation system and maintain patient records per policy.
  • Participate in required meetings and training sessions related to patient care and operational standards.
