They typically conduct 812 appointments per week, showcasing the value of Renewal by Andersens exclusive products and installation process. Success in this role requires emotional intelligence, active listening, and the ability to recommend and close on solutions that meet customer needs. Consultants are trained to offer a wide range of window, patio door, and entry door options./ppNewly hired Design Consultants begin their employment as non-exempt Design Consultant Trainees in a multi-week training program to learn the Renewal by Andersen sales process. The training includes a combination of classroom learnings, hands-on training, and job shadowing. Design Consultant Trainees transfer to the Design Consultant role upon successful completion and test-out of the training program./ppPosition Responsibilities:/pulliConduct in-home sales consultations, including leveraging an iPad and augmented reality to design and build window and door replacement solutions for homeowners./liliDrive personal vehicle and sit for long periods of time up to 1,800-2,500 miles per month to and from in-home appointments./liliAttend and actively participate in sales meetings, trainings and branch meetings./liliAttend technical measurement appointments/install and engage in the support of the sales project process including but limited to, documentation, follow through, order changes, discounting guidelines, and keeping in contact with homeowner./liliUse required company-designated software, systems, and technology tools, and comply with all related usage, security, and confidentiality policies./li/ulpMinimum Qualification, Skill and/or Competency Requirements:/pulliStrong persuasive skills and the ability to overcome objections and close sales./liliExcellent interpersonal communication skills. Visibly passionate about providing a world-class homeowner experience./liliValues collaboration, and builds strong working relationships with all key stakeholders./liliAbility to work independently with little direct supervision./liliPositive mental attitude and driven to exceed goals in a competitive industry./liliBasic computer skills/iPad skills./liliMust have valid state motor vehicle operators license and/or ability to obtain In-Home State License (requirements vary by state)./liliMust be able to routinely lift/move items weighing up to 53 pounds from ground to tabletop level.
