Don's Prepared Foods is the leading manufacturer on the East Coast of prepared gourmet deli salads, gourmet cream cheese spreads, dips, entrée’s and more. Don's is a family-owned business and manufactures over 130 products spanning across its three brands: Don's Salads, Melanie's Medleys and Artisan Deli. Our Warehouse department is seeking a Warehouse Worker to join the team at our Schwenksville, PA food manufacturing plant. This is an hourly, non-exempt position that typically starts at 6:30AM from Monday-Friday (no weekends!) with flexible end times according to production needs. Candidates who are dedicated, consistent, and organized with a warehouse background in a manufacturing environment are strongly encouraged to apply.
Forklift experience preferred. Job responsibilities
: Shift schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30AM. This position works in a refrigerated warehouse for the full shift, temperature is about 34-36 degrees. Pack finished products into boxes Stack products on pallets Move product to inventory locations and rotate stock using pallet jack/forklift Pick customer orders with attention to expiration dates/item numbers of products to be picked Count items for inventory posting in ERP system Follow established procedures Adhere to food safety standards and sanitation guidelines Assist other areas of the Warehouse as needed Requirements: Must be able to work in a cold environment (34-36 degrees) Must be able to lift 50 pounds Must be able to use a pallet jack. Forklift experience strongly preferred Must be able to stand for long periods of time Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English We offer an excellent benefit package: Competitive starting pay $250 sign on bonus after 6 months of continuous employment Benefits package available after 60 days of employment:
