About the Role They are looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead new business efforts across enterprise accounts. This is a quota-carrying role focused on closing high-value deals, managing complex sales cycles, and building long‑term strategic partnerships. This is a fully remote opportunity with exposure to leading insurance organisations across multiple markets.
Responsibilities
Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close for enterprise-level deals
Identify, engage, and win new business across insurers, MGAs, brokers, and embedded insurance partners
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target key accounts and market segments
Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
Lead complex, multi‑stakeholder sales processes involving commercial, technical, and executive buyers
Deliver tailored product demonstrations and proposals aligned to client needs
Collaborate with BDRs, marketing, and product teams to drive pipeline generation and deal success
Negotiate commercial terms and close high‑value SaaS agreements
Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting
Stay up to date with industry trends and position the solution effectively within the evolving insurtech landscape
Qualifications
Proven track record in business development or sales within enterprise SaaS (insurtech or fintech strongly preferred)
Experience closing complex, high-value deals with long sales cycles
Strong understanding of the insurance ecosystem (carriers, MGAs, brokers, or embedded insurance models)
Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed revenue targets
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging C‑suite decision‑makers
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
Ability to articulate complex technical solutions in a clear, compelling way
Self‑motivated and comfortable operating in a remote, high‑growth environment
