R1414Location:Samaritan Medical CenterDepartment:01.6728 SMC SFHC-ADAMS CLINICPay Range:$49.10 - $81.02Care for our community, and your career.* Physician Assistants must be certified or eligible for certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician's Assistants (NCCPA) within one year.* Documentation of certification must be filed with the staff secretary.* Graduate of approved course of study and experience acceptable to the State Education Department.* Training and experience must be within the scope of practice of the collaborating or supervising physician to whom they are assigned. Must have privileges at Samaritan Medical Center.* Responsible to act in accordance with the Medical Staff Bylaws of Samaritan Medical Center and Samaritan Keep Home.* Every practitioner at the time of appointment and continuously thereafter, must demonstrate clinical competence to the satisfaction of the medical staff and the board(s) of the hospital(s) or the nursing home if applicable in which privileges are sought.* Visual and auditory acuity with or without adaptive devices. Ability to organize personal work and maintain patient flow, ability to give sound guidance and direction to others involved in care of patients.* Ability to work independently and autonomously. Ability to make good decisions.* Critical listening skills and ability to communicate clearly. Commitment to update skills constantly and proficient use of resources. Desire to work with all types of people and work as a team member. Good interpersonal skills. Good eye/hand coordination and precision.* Basic computer skills required.* BLS required.
