Responsibilities and Qualifications
Assist in building and configuring Azure virtual machines, virtual networks, storage accounts, and PaaS services.
Support CI/CD pipeline maintenance and automation activities under senior guidance.
Perform basic Windows Server administration, including configuration, patching, and troubleshooting.
Help manage Active Directory user and group administration and support identity operations in Microsoft Entra ID.
Contribute to RHEL8 system support, including patching, configuration, and routine system checks.
Support the deployment and use of STIG‑compliant images, ensuring proper application, validation, and compliance during system provisioning.
Monitor performance, availability, and security using Azure-native tools.
Assist in troubleshooting cloud infrastructure issues and support scripting and automation tasks using PowerShell or Bash.
Follow established cloud governance, security practices, and compliance guidelines, including 8140 requirements.
Familiarity with 8140 Cyber Security Compliance.
Foundational knowledge of Azure compute, networking, storage, or PaaS services.
Basic Windows Server administration skills, including exposure to Active Directory and Entra ID.
Introductory experience with RHEL8 system administration.
Ability to support STIG‑compliant image usage during system deployment (no creation/modification required).
Exposure to scripting (PowerShell or Bash) and familiarity with DevOps pipelines is a plus.
Understanding of basic cloud security and identity management concepts
