CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant)
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing facility team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
This position operates in a clinical healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Help residents with mobility issues, including transferring, positioning, and ambulating safely.
- Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Accurately document all care provided, changes in residents' conditions, and any other pertinent information in electronic health records.
- Report any changes in residents' conditions or concerns to the nursing staff or supervisor in a timely manner.
- Assist with feeding, preparing meals, and providing companionship to enhance residents' quality of life.
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and physicians, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.
- Ability to lift and move residents, as well as perform physical tasks associated with patient care.
- Current CNA certification in Nebraska
