Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Market Coordinator
to oversee solar project progress from Sale through Final Funding within an assigned region. This role ensures that inspections, re-visits, documentation, and utility approvals are handled efficiently to prevent delays and drive timely project completion. As the market lead, the Market Coordinator supports field teams, resolves blockers, and maintains a healthy install-to-funding pipeline.

This is an independent contractor role
Fully remote – work from anywhere

Job Responsibilities:
Own all solar projects in assigned market from Sale to Final Funding
Drive post-installation completion across the region
Coordinate and track inspection passes, re-visits, and utility approvals
Manage failed inspection queues, rework needs, and documentation accuracy
Liaise with Project Managers, Project Coordinators, Installers, and AHJs to close out projects
Escalate high-risk items or blockers that may delay install funding
Maintain up-to-date trackers, provide status updates, and report on market backlog and completions
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Solar industry experience is required, specifically in operations, permitting, inspections, project coordination, or utility processing
Expert level proficiency in Google Sheets including formulas, data validation, queries, lookups, and reporting
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field preferred
Spanish bilingual – ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish
Previous experience in coordination, project support, or operations roles
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Proficiency with Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and task management tools
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple moving parts
Adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable in a remote work environment
