The Challenge We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer to join our agile Product Engineering team. In this role you will design, develop, and support new frontend and backend features for our industry‑leading platform.
Your Mission Development
Achieve at least 80% code coverage or meet the revised standards set by the team.
Collaborate with UX, Product Managers, and other developers to participate in planning, grooming, and architectural discussions.
Ensure all committed stories for the sprint are completed in line with the sprint goal.
Support
Reduce defect count by identifying and fixing issues early in development.
Deliver critical and high‑priority CII’s per SLA.
Conduct peer reviews to improve code quality.
Mentor junior developers in testing, exploratory testing, AI testing, and test automation.
Lead
Build high‑performing teams, mentor technical skills, and create development opportunities.
You Are
A self‑learner who embraces new technologies, processes, and techniques.
Someone who asks questions to clarify gaps in understanding.
Experience Includes
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
8+ years of professional software engineering/development experience.
Extensive hands‑on experience in object‑oriented design, Java/J2EE, Spring MVC, SQL, and web services.
Experience with Elasticsearch and streaming tools like Kafka.
Good understanding of web services and SOA standards such as REST, OAuth, JSON.
Competent understanding of Python and Bash.
Moderate experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with cloud services (Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS).
Extra Awesome
Experience with relational and document databases.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
Proficiency in Kubernetes (cluster deployment, scaling, management).
Salary Range $139,725 - $209,587.50 USD (for eligible states)
