About
We are seeking an energetic and diligent Warehouse Worker to join our team in the vibrant city of San Francisco, California. This role is integral to our logistics network, ensuring the efficient movement and handling of goods within our facility. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. A strong commitment to safety is essential, and you will be expected to strictly adhere to all safety regulations and wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. This physically demanding role requires individuals who are reliable, efficient, and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Experience with material handling equipment is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items according to order specifications.
- Pack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment.
- Participate in inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Consistently use required PPE.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar physical labor role is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and the importance of using PPE.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
- Good communication skills.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
