Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to transport materials.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Stack and stage merchandise in designated areas.
- Perform daily inspections of forklift equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items.
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Assist with shipping and receiving operations.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.
- Implement safe lifting and material handling techniques.
- Support overall warehouse logistics objectives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification or previous certified experience.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards.
- Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory management systems is a plus.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
