Who you are

• You have proven experience with Oracle database servers
• You have excellent knowledge and experience of Oracle RMAN backup and restore.
• Oracle tuning is part of your skill set
• You have knowledge of high availability on Dataguard or Real Application Cluster
• You're a good team player
• You are fluent in French and/or German and at ease in English.
• You have knowledge of Apex and PL/SQL

Your tasks

• Deployment and installation of new Oracle database infrastructures
• Installation, maintenance, administration and patching of Oracle appliances in Bare Metal with virtualization technology
• Migration of databases on premises and in the Cloud
• Database patching and updates. Use of Ansible for large-scale patching.
• Deployment and configuration of high-availability databases (Data Guard for EE version, dbvisit for SE version, RAC, etc.).
• Proposal of new solutions to meet customer requirements (Snapshots, container database, etc.).
• Set up, configure and manage database backups.
• Replication and movement of data using various technologies (RMAN duplicate, Export/Import Data Pump, etc.).
• Oracle database administration and troubleshooting (user support)
• Shell scripting as well as SQL and PL/SQL scripting
