The company is a Swiss based consulting company, they specialize in Financial Services. They are looking for a DevOps for one of their client. As a member of the Front Platform, you will lead the effort to industrialize the applications deployment and the production monitoring. You’ll join an inspiring team of technologists dedicated to the Wealth management, Investment Platform, independent asset management and fund management.

Vacancy
Who you are
- Master’s degree in Technology or equivalent.
- In-depth software engineering knowledge and expertise; firm advocate of automation, infrastructure as code and XaaS.
- Substantial experience with JVM technologies, features and constraints.
- Experience with microservices and APIs.
- Knowledge of containers and orchestrators; Docker and Kubernetes would be a plus.
- Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages Python, Java, Java scripting, or database development (SQL, Sybase / Oracle) or no SQL (MongoDB, ElasticSearch)
- Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
- Interest in finance; good financial knowledge would be an advantage. Hands-on experience with agile methodologies.
- Capacity to work independently, excellent organisational skills and keen attention to detail. Open-mindedness and team spirit.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in French. English would be a plus.
Your tasks
- Promoting code out of our software factory to production, with the goal of automating every part of the process but without making any compromises on the quality of the solution delivered.
- Setting up state-of-the-art analytics and monitoring capabilities, providing both prescriptive and predictive insights.
- Designing and writing code for infrastructure, quality assurance, configuration or security components.
- Diagnosing production issues, performing root-cause analysis and working with all members of the cross-functional team to propose solutions.
- Providing continuous guidance to software engineers around operational challenges, such as reliability and manageability, making sure that software implementations are production-proof.
- Promoting data-driven decision-making and identifying the metrics that matter.
