The hiring company is a booming Swiss SME active within the research and academic field. As they are growing, they are looking for a Platform/Kubernetes Engineer to join their team working remotely (option to go to the office in Lausanne or Zurich if wished). The salary range for this position is CHF 80-140K+ / year, depending on the experience.

Vacancy

Who you are

  • Language skills: fluent English (C1+)
  • IT related studies
  • 1-2+ experience on Kubernetes
  • Excellent knowledge of Linux next to your Kubernetes skills
  • Willingness to work in a DevOps environment (Ansible, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes)

Your tasks

  • Take part in the building a whole new Cloud solution from scratch with highly skilled System and Cloud Engineers, based on Infrastructure as Code
  • Operation and development on a Kubernetes as a Service (KaaS) solution based on Kubermatic Kubernetes Platform
  • Use of DevOps tools and processes to continuously improve the services of the company (OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes ecosystem, automation, Containers, Ceph, SDN etc)
  • Collaborate with team members
  • Improving and automating development processes
