Backend Software Engineer (Java/Spring)

About the company

The hiring company is an international tech SME providing different intelligent solutions. As they are growing their teams, they are looking for a Backend Software Engineer (Java/Spring) to join their team in Zurich or Bern.

Your tasks

Work with state-of-the-art technologies in an international team to develop IoT solutions based on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

Take part in the development on the Backend side by using the modern technologies Java/Spring Boot

Develop and build several products, take part in code reviews

Work in a DevOps environment (CI/CD, Containers, Test Automation, Docker) and with Cloud solutions (Microsoft Azure)

Use of agile methodologies (Scrum)

Your profile

Degree in Computer science or similar education

3+ years of experience in software engineering with broad practical experience in Backend

Solid experience with Java/Spring/Spring Boot

Fluent in English (C1+)

Experience in Microsoft Azure and/or Angular would be considered as a big plus

The salary range for this position is CHF 110K-140K / year (depending on the years of experience).
