The company is an up-and-coming start-up FinTech company whose social objective is to bring technology to small businesses in emerging markets, by facilitating their operations. Thanks to their growth, they are looking to expand their team by recruiting a Product Owner.
Your tasksCoordinate the launch of new features with the rest of the teamPrioritise tasks, in agreement with the scrum, internal and sometimes external stakeholdersWrite excellent specificationsAnticipate and optimise the workload of the scrumDevelop and manage the scope of work and backlog items (epic/features/user stories)Gather as much feedback as possible from different sources and organise itMonitor and analyse customer behaviour in order to propose improvements and new featuresDefine and maintain the product roadmap, in line with the company's strategic objectives, creating more and more business value through the applicationTaking the role of Product Owner within the ScrumThey are looking for someone with experience of building applications for small businesses, used to working with developers in an agile setting. Your job is to understand customers and monitor their behaviour, to increase the business value of the application.
Your profileThey have little hierarchy, where ownership and responsibility mean a lot. They try to remain a small but highly skilled team, hiring the best. What are you waiting for ?They value freedom. They like to have an office, where they can meet in person, but you can also go away for a few weeks or months if you need to, or be with them only a few days a week, at your convenienceFluency in English (French or Spanish a big plus)The right match for them ? You are entrepreneurial, creative and strategic thinker. You are analytical and to the point. Computer engineer or at least proven experience in IT. You have experience in product development and Agile - Scrum, the mindset for the start-up environment. Experience is good, but it's your skills and mindset that are most important
