A Phlebotomist who excels in this role:
- Specimen labeling, ordering, accessioning, and processing.
- Collects blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques.
- Maintains equipment and medical supplies.
- Specified waived testing if applicable.

Applicants should have a current state Phlebotomy certificate. Additional requirements include:
- Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
