Overview: Join a dedicated pediatric care team in a supportive clinical environment serving the Midwest region. This role involves assisting in the delivery of comprehensive healthcare and patient management, tailored to the dynamic needs of the practice. Essential Responsibilities:
Provide direct and delegated patient care, maintaining awareness of normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Deliver patient care aligned with established standards and guidelines, including telephone triage and patient reassurance with clear, accurate education. Ensure smooth healthcare service delivery during patient visits by managing medical records, preparing patients for examinations, and obtaining vital signs and medical histories. Observe and communicate abnormal patient signs to physicians, document findings, and ensure patient understanding of discharge instructions. Assist physicians with testing, treatment procedures, minor surgeries, and physicals, including applying splints, managing medication samples, and coordinating referrals and testing. Perform laboratory tests and maintain lab logs as prescribed. Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of equipment. Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution. Completion of an accredited Nursing Program. Licensure and Certifications:
Current nursing license valid in the state of Indiana.
Work Schedule: Full-time, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 40 hours per week.
