Als Specialist Engineer Datacenter ben jij de specialist op het gebied van datacenterinfrastructuren. Dagelijks werk je samen met je collega’s aan de verdeling en afhandeling van klanttickets. Dit kunnen incidenten of verstoringen zijn, maar ook changes en serviceverzoeken. Daarnaast ben jij het technische aanspreekpunt voor een of meerdere klanten. Je ondersteunt hen met advies en implementeert verbeteringen en optimalisaties binnen hun omgevingen.
Je schakelt regelmatig met Projectengineers en Service Delivery Managers om contractuele en operationele vragen op te lossen. Met jouw proactieve aanpak draag je direct bij aan het verbeteren van onze dienstverlening. Bovendien blijf je voortdurend op de hoogte van de nieuwste technologieën en trends, zodat je altijd beschikt over actuele kennis.
Je maak deel uit van een hechte RUN team binnen ons Service Management Center (SMC). Intern werk je samen met collega-experts, een People Manager, een Scrum Master en een coördinator. Extern schakel je met klanten en wanneer nodig ook met vendoren. Bij grote klanten neem je vaak zelfstandig de volledige verantwoordelijkheid, terwijl kleinere klanten meer basiskennis en ondersteuning vragen.
Wat breng je mee?Bij Proximus NXT maak je impact door te werken aan complexe IT-infrastructuren voor grote klanten. De kwaliteiten pro-activiteit en flexibiliteit staan binnen jouw functie als Specialist Engineer Datacenter centraal. Daarbij ben je sterk in communicatie, zowel intern als naar klanten. Dat is belangrijk omdat klanten op jou rekenen voor de beveiliging van hun infrastructuur. Een escalatie kan voor hen grote gevolgen hebben, daarom zorg je voor duidelijke communicatie.
- Je beschikt over een afgeronde mbo-opleiding met hbo-werk-en-denkniveau. Daarnaast heb jij minimaal 3-5 jaar ervaring in een vergelijkbare functie
- Je bent in het bezit van één of meerdere relevante certificeringen zoals Cisco CCNA/CCNP, en kennis van datacenter oplossingen zoals Cisco UCS, Nexus en ACI
- Je hebt praktische ervaring en kennis met werken in een complexe IT-infra omgeving zoals een datacenter of een managed service provider voor IT infra.
