This is a remote position based in South Dakota and/or Nebraska. The Calix One platform enables Communication Service Providers (CSPs) to transform and future‑proof their businesses through real‑time data, automation, and actionable insights. Responsibilities Lead Cloud SaaS and SmartLife solution strategic sales efforts within our Regional accounts segment. Assist with account planning, complex account management, and sales processes. Interpret customer requirements using discovery conversations to understand, anticipate, and exceed customer needs. Manage complete and complex sales cycles, often presenting to C‑level executives and business leaders the value of Calix Cloud data and SmartLife solutions. Evangelize and promote the Calix vision through executive engagement, product demonstrations, in‑market events, and account‑specific initiatives. Use the latest tools and sales enablement to understand our market opportunity, competitors, and partners. Provide market input on product development efforts and pricing strategies. Work with leadership and peers to refine and elevate Calix Use Cases, Best Practices, and Field Training initiatives. Qualifications 5+ years of quota‑carrying software/cloud sales and account management experience. Exceptional presentation and communication skills. Experience selling into the Communication Service Providers space is preferred. Proven success in selling SaaS solutions, major account selling, and identifying strategic sales opportunities. Ability to identify key stakeholders and decision makers and develop and execute a strategic account plan. Comfortable working in virtual teams, matrix organizations with solutions specialists, engineering, customer success, and dedicated account teams. Experience managing extended development cycles and closing complex sales, with demonstrated ownership of all aspects of territory management. Must have a valid driver’s license. Proficiency in sales methodologies such as SPIN selling, Value Selling, Major Account Selling, and negotiation training. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Location & Remote Work This is a remote‑based position located in the SD and/or NE area. The Calix team is distributed, and most members enjoy the opportunity to work remotely. Salary The on‑target earnings for this position vary based on geographic location. Specific pay ranges are provided during the recruitment process.
