Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager owns identifying new business opportunities, acquiring new customers, maintaining new customer relationships and driving IoT sales.

A highly skilled, business development personnel who has an inherent drive and entrepreneurial spirit to grow in new and exciting ways will make the ideal candidate. This role will embrace the IDEX operating model and core values (Trust, Teams, and Excellence).

This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a proven track record in business development and sales.

• Hardware sales

• Legacy software migration
• Market analysis
• Sales forecasting

• Customer feedback

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in business or related field is preferred
• 5+ years of progressive experience in Business Development and/or 8+ years of sales experience
• Ability to manage drive multiple tasks
• Drive for results; works with a sense of urgency or "Own It" mentality
• Critical thinking and solid problem solving ability
• Continuous improvement and process driven mindset
• Highly adaptable and forward-thinking
• Must possess excellent communication, planning, negotiating, troubleshooting, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Tech savvy to understand different technical aspects of the products
• Based out of Wheeling, IL FM Corporate Office
• Travel up to 25% of the time
• The ideal candidate will sit in Illinois or mid west region
