Salary: €40,000
- €45,000 + Bonus + Company Vehicle/Allowance + Benefits Our client is a respected and growing supplier of technical products and solutions, serving customers across infrastructure, industrial, engineering, construction, and utility sectors throughout Ireland.As part of their continued expansion, they are seeking an ambitious and commercially focused Sales Executive to join their team and play a key role in driving business growth, strengthening customer relationships, and identifying new market opportunities.

The Opportunity The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing customer relationships while identifying and converting new business opportunities across Ireland.
Working closely with contractors, engineers, consultants, procurement teams, and project stakeholders, you will become a trusted partner to customers, helping them find effective solutions while contributing directly to the company's continued growth.
This role offers significant autonomy, opportunities for career progression, and the chance to work with a well-established organisation that values initiative, professionalism, and customer service excellence.
Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities.
Manage the full sales process from initial contact through to order completion.
Conduct customer meetings, site visits, and business development activities across your territory.
Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, and tenders.
Deliver commercially competitive solutions while maintaining profitability.
Monitor project pipelines and identify upcoming opportunities.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer experience and service delivery.
Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts.
Represent the business professionally within the marketplace and at industry events.
About You You are an energetic and self-driven sales professional who thrives on building relationships and creating new opportunities.
You enjoy engaging with customers, understanding their challenges, and delivering solutions that add real value.
Essential Requirements Previous experience in Business Development, Technical Sales, Field Sales, Account Management, or a similar customer-facing role.
Proven ability to develop new business and grow existing accounts.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Commercially minded with a results-oriented approach.
Highly organised and capable of managing multiple opportunities simultaneously.
Full clean driving licence.
Willingness to travel throughout Ireland.
Desirable Experience Engineering, industrial, technical, construction, manufacturing, utilities, or distribution sectors.
Solution-based or consultative sales environment.
Experience working with contractors, consultants, project managers, engineers, or procurement professionals.
