Responsibilities
Develop large‑scale data structures and pipelines to organize, collect, and standardize data for insights and reporting.
Write and maintain ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) processes, design database systems, and develop tools for real‑time and offline analytical processing.
Collaborate with Data Science teams to transform data and integrate algorithms and models into automated processes.
Test, maintain, and troubleshoot systems.
Leverage knowledge of Hadoop architecture, HDFS commands, and query optimization to build data pipelines.
Utilize programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages to build robust pipelines and dynamic systems.
Build data marts and data models to support Data Science and other internal customers.
Integrate data from multiple sources while ensuring data quality and accessibility standards.
Analyze current IT environments, assess capabilities, and recommend solutions to complex business problems.
Experiment with available tools, advise on new tools, and provide optimal solutions aligned with model/use‑case requirements.
Telecommuting is available; multiple positions are open.
Qualifications
Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Completion of a university‑level course, research project, internship, or thesis covering each of the following areas:
Java, Python, or Node.js programming
Programming in R
Data visualization tools (PowerBI or Tableau)
Machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling
Decision analytics
Data modeling and processing
Database management systems
Data mining and analytics
Compensation and Benefits Annual base salary range: $113,235 – $158,620, dependent on experience, education, geography, and other factors. Additional compensation may include bonus, commission, or short‑term incentive programs, and an equity award program target.
