As a Business Development Associate, you will play a key role in driving new client acquisition across the Irish market.
Working closely with senior sales professionals, you will identify and engage prospective customers, build strong commercial relationships, and help businesses optimise their international payments and foreign exchange requirements.
You will report directly to the MD Ireland and regularly collaborate with business development teams.
This role is ideal for ambitious, commercially driven individuals looking to develop a successful career within fintech, FX and B2B sales.
How We Work As a Business Development Associate you will be expected to work in a hybrid environment.

Role Responsibilities The responsibilities of the role will include: Conducting thorough research on target accounts in Ireland to uncover industry challenges and tailor Corpay Cross Border solutions.
Executing personalised outreach activities daily via calls, email, LinkedIn, and social channels.
Qualifying inbound and outbound leads by assessing revenue, budget, pain points, job role and timeline.
Mapping decision-makers and internal champions, then secure discovery meetings with key stakeholders.
Scheduling and prepping high-value sessions for Business Development Managers, providing detailed briefing notes to demonstrate our Corpay Cross Border offering.
Maintaining Salesforce with every touchpoint, lead status update, forecast and insight for real-time pipeline visibility.
Monitoring and analysing your KPIs/ activity levels, conversion rates and pipeline value, then optimise tactics based on data and coaching.
Qualifications & Skills Minimum 1-2 years of experience in outbound sales, lead generation and prospecting (SDR/BDR) A fearless communicator comfortable cold calling, emailing, and building relationships fast.
Tech-adept: Salesforce (or similar CRM), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Microsoft Office come naturally.
Self-motivated, resilient, and hungry to learn.
A natural networker with strong LinkedIn and social selling skills.

Pay Transparency The salary range for this position is €35,000 €42,000 gross per year.
