Job Description Azure Summit Technology is a mature, growing small business with locations in Melbourne, Florida, and Fairfax, Virginia, and remote employees across the United States. What do we do? Azure Summit Technology provides a wide range of multi-channel, software-defined radio solutions for applications including surveillance, communications, radar, direction finding, emitter location, and interference cancellation. Systems can be tailored to meet a variety of requirements for bandwidth, dynamic range, number of channels, and computational resources. Supported platforms range from resource-constrained small UAVs and wearable devices to manned aircraft and submarines. Azure also offers innovative signal processing solutions to challenging problems in the realm of radio frequency spectrum awareness.
What will you do? Azure Summit Technology is currently seeking a Jr DevOps Engineer. This position is located on‑site at our facility in Fairfax, Virginia, with occasional overnight travel to our office in Melbourne, Florida and/or other locations as needed to support customer activities. The selected candidate will support the design, development, modification, and evaluation of signals intelligence, radar, and communications prototype development systems and related software systems in a cloud environment. The candidate will be instrumental in the engineering and advanced research and development associated with designing of products during pre‑delivery design, integration, and acceptance. Duties will include efforts related to cloud DevOps configuration, automation, and deployment. The selected candidate will assist in the planning and executing of projects or phases of projects to include customer interface, requirements development, design reviews, and technical interchanges, and all aspects of design, development, demonstration, and evaluation.
Basic Requirements:
US citizenship – due to the nature of the work and contract requirement
Ability to obtain a SECRET or TOP SECRET security clearance – due to contract requirement
Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Math, or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years’ experience developing on‑premises or cloud infrastructure to support team or customer initiatives and developing and deploying processes using CI/CD tools and/or software development experience
