À propos
At Capital One, data is at the center of everything we do. When we launched as a startup we disrupted the credit card industry by individually personalizing every credit card offer using statistical modeling and the relational database, cutting edge technology in 1988. Fast‑forward a few years, and this little innovation and our passion for data has skyrocketed us to a Fortune 200 company and a leader in the world of data‑driven decision‑making.
As a Senior Manager on the People Strategy and Analytics (PS&A) team, you will head a high‑performing team of analysts focused on high‑impact talent acquisition initiatives, international strategy, and broad organizational mandates. In this critical role you will drive data democratization and robust self‑service capabilities through advanced reporting and analytics, serve as a trusted thought partner to senior leadership, and manage executive stakeholder relationships while leveraging cutting‑edge AI and automation frameworks to redefine our HR data capabilities. With a network of hundreds of Data Analysts, Quants, and Data Scientists, you will tackle challenging projects with an eye on the bottom line and a focus on work/life balance, working in a dynamic environment with plenty of opportunity for learning, growth, and realizing your full potential.
On a given day you will be:
Refining and evolving people analytics frameworks and data standards to ensure our analytics, metrics, and insights are accurate, compliant, and scalable.
Planning and executing high‑priority data projects, managing end‑to‑end deliverables for complex talent acquisition, international strategy, and broader PS&A initiatives.
Coaching, mentoring, and upskilling a talented team of PS&A analysts to foster a collaborative culture of technical excellence and professional growth.
Diagnosing complex data integrity and technical pipeline challenges, mitigating systemic workforce data risks while uncovering hidden operational opportunities.
Researching, identifying, and prototyping next‑generation AI and automation tools to keep our data and analytics infrastructure at the cutting edge.
Translating complex technical findings and analytics into clear, concise narratives, executive presentations, and data‑driven recommendations for senior leadership.
An ideal candidate will possess strong problem‑solving and conceptual thinking abilities in addition to communication, interpersonal and leadership skills. This position will be in a fast‑paced and entrepreneurial environment where you will be handling multiple concurrent projects while working independently and in teams.
