An Atwoods retail store associate is responsible for providing outstanding customer service through a variety of functions including but not limited to: merchandising, promotional preparation, safety, assisting other departments, answering phone inquiries, general housekeeping, and assisting customers with purchases. In addition, they are integral in loss prevention and inventory integrity. This is a safety sensitive position.
Requirements
Ability to lift or move heavy merchandise up to 50 lbs
Math skills to count merchandise and for cash handling
Develop product knowledge and selling skills.
Ability to work outside in variable weather
Extensive standing and walking
Cooperative and willing to work as a team
Be sure general layout of dept. is correct – fixtures, flow, merchandising
