Responsibilities Verifies conformance of the product to dimensional specifications. Release of material based on inspection / test results. Interprets basic engineering drawings. Effectively uses gages and measuring equipment. Performs destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life, or material characteristics. Enters data into the computer for analysis and prepares graphs or charts. Verifies conformance to gages to calibration standards. Skills and Abilities Ability to maintain charts, graphs, and production reports. Ability to calculate basic mathematical computations. Ability to interpret written communication. Capable of carrying out all assignments and maintaining the 5S philosophy. Ability to understand blueprints and technical documents. Understand SPC, Control Charting, FMEA's. Education and Experience A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
