Perform thorough patient evaluations, prescribe diagnostic measures, and devise individualized treatment plans Diagnose and address acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in partnership with medical physicians or autonomously (based on credentialing) Instruct patients and families on preventive care, wellness strategies, and disease management Prescribe medications and therapies within your practice scope Participate in patient follow-up and chronic care initiatives Team up across multidisciplinary groups to ensure complete, holistic care Maintain meticulous documentation within electronic medical records (EMR) Educational Background
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Essential Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Colorado National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or related specialty Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days) Qualities That Make You Shine
