Description
Conduct thorough evaluations for patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations through standardized assessments and observational methods. Design individual treatment plans tailored to meet short-term objectives and long-term goals associated with communication, cognition, or swallowing. Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions focused on enhancing language skills, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing safety. Collaborate effectively with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to create comprehensive care strategies. Empower patients and families through education to foster progress beyond the clinical environment. Provide support for occasional inpatient speech therapy needs to ensure uninterrupted patient care throughout their healing journey. Maintain precise and timely documentation in alignment with all relevant state, federal, and organizational standards. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field through professional development and collaborative learning opportunities. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA-certified. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first 30 days of employment. Skills
