Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care strategies Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues, either independently or in partnership with physicians (depending on regulations) Providing education to patients and families regarding wellness, preventive measures, and disease management Prescribing medications and therapeutic interventions within your practice scope Engaging in follow-up care and chronic disease management for patients Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and seamless healthcare delivery Maintaining detailed and precise records within electronic medical records (EMR) Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Certifications Required
Active Nurse Practitioner license in Georgia National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days) Attributes That Distinguish You
