Undertaking thorough patient assessments, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and formulating personalized care strategies Diagnosing and addressing acute, episodic, or chronic health concerns in conjunction with physicians or independently based on your credentials Guiding patients and their families in wellness, preventative measures, and chronic illness management Prescribing relevant medications and treatments within your authorized scope Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic care management Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to guarantee comprehensive, cohesive care Keeping accurate and thorough documentation within electronic medical records (EMR) Essential Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Mandatory Certifications
Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in Alabama National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a relevant specialty Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days) Attributes That Define You
