PRN Qualified Medication Aide IN, Plainfield - Plainfield Correctional Facility - PLAINFIELD, IN 46168 Position Type Per Diem Job Shift As Needed Education Level High School Diploma/GED Travel Percentage None Category Nursing Professional & Support Description Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Indiana Department of Correction. We are currently seeking a PRN Qualified Medication Aide to join our team at Plainfield Correctional Facility located in Plainfield, Indiana. Pay Rate Range is $20-22/hour, depending on experience. The Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) (Indiana) works under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) and/or other medical staff and is responsible for assisting nurses by following written and/or oral instructions to administer medications and document drug dosages and times of administration. The QMA takes vital signs, assists in examinations and treatments, and assists patients with activities of daily living while monitoring patients to report changes in their conditions. Qualifications • High school diploma or GED equivalent required • Graduation from a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) training program required • QMA certification required • Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) • One (1) year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency, or correctional setting preferred • Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check PRN Shift We offer excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits for our full-time team members including:
