Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Missouri. Completion of an accredited practical nursing program. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Demonstrated knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a community health or outpatient care setting. Additional certifications such as IV therapy or wound care. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Strong organizational and time management skills. Bilingual abilities to support diverse patient populations. Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to patients, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor and record patients' vital signs, symptoms, and progress, reporting any changes to the supervising nurse or physician. Assist with patient hygiene, mobility, and daily living activities to ensure comfort and dignity. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and post-treatment care. Ensure a safe and clean environment by following infection control protocols and safety procedures.
