Active RN license required. Minimum 2 years of recent OR RN experience required. Experience in Orthopedic Surgery required. Experience in Neuro Surgery required. Experience in Robotics preferred (candidates with 2 of the 3 specialties may be considered). Current BLS certification required. Current ACLS certification required. CNOR certification preferred. Strong perioperative nursing and circulating experience. Excellent communication, critical-thinking, and teamwork skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment. First-time travelers may be considered with 5+ years of experience. Responsibilities:
Provide direct perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures. Circulate surgical cases while maintaining sterile technique and patient safety standards. Assist surgical teams during orthopedic, neuro, and robotic procedures. Monitor patient condition throughout operative procedures and respond to clinical changes. Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, and necessary equipment. Complete accurate surgical documentation using Epic. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and interdisciplinary teams. Maintain compliance with infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards. Participate in required call rotation and weekend coverage. Support efficient operating room workflow and patient throughput. Call Requirements:
Minimum of 3 call shifts per 6-week schedule. 1 weekend call shift required. Weekday post-shift call: 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM. Weekend call options:
6:30 AM - 6:30 PM 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM
