Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering essential diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care strategies Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians or independently, based on your credentials Providing education to patients and their families on wellness, prevention, and disease management Prescribing necessary medications and therapies within your professional scope Engaging in patient follow-up and ongoing chronic care management Partnering with interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, holistic patient care Accurately documenting all interactions within electronic medical record systems Educational Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Certifications Needed
Active Nurse Practitioner license in Texas National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or similar specialty Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or the ability to acquire them within 90 days What Makes You Stand Out
