Provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs, administering medications (oral, subcutaneous, intramuscular), and assisting with examinations and procedures as directed. Accurately document patient information, including medical history, symptoms, treatments, and responses. Assist with patient education regarding medications, treatment plans, and health maintenance. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe patient care environment. Prepare examination rooms and ensure necessary supplies are available. Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens as ordered. Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare team members. Assist with phone triage and prescription refills under the direction of a physician or registered nurse. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Perform other clinical and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Valid and current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of MI. Proven experience in a clinical setting preferred (office experience a plus). Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
