This role demands critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for safe delivery of care. As a Registered Nurse, you will maintain clinical competencies through continuing education, delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of the available staff, and provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care. ResponsibilitiesProvide nursing care utilizing the Nursing Process. Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment in patient care. Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education. Delegate patient care tasks based on staff qualifications and competencies. Supervise and direct personnel in the delivery of patient care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure2 to 5 years of experience in an LTAC or Telemetry setting. ACLS & BLS certifications (must be attached with the application). Experience with ventilators and tracheostomy care. 2 years of recent Tele/LTAC experience in a hospital setting. Active Indiana or multi-state compact RN license (must be attached to resume).
