Employ radiographic and CT techniques to capture accurate diagnostic images for medical professionals Work closely with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams to foster precise diagnoses Skillfully position patients and calibrate imaging equipment to achieve optimal results Implement radiation safety protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff Keep detailed records, including imaging logs and equipment maintenance Deliver compassionate care, putting patients at ease throughout the imaging process Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient imaging environment Education & Qualifications
Required: Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology; Bachelor's Degree is preferred Graduate of an accredited radiology program Certification Requirements
ARRT certification (CT and/or Radiography) mandatory Current BLS certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment Desired Skills
Thorough knowledge of diagnostic imaging protocols and safety standards Outstanding communication skills with both patients and interdisciplinary team members Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and adjust swiftly to changing demands Sharp attention to detail paired with a strong sense of responsibility Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and contemporary imaging software What You Will Enjoy
