Craft individual treatment strategies designed to achieve both immediate outcomes and cater to long-term communication or swallowing needs. Deliver dedicated speech therapy aimed at enhancing elements of communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing. Collaborate effectively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, doctors, caregivers, and families to construct unified care approaches. Provide educational resources and guidance to patients and their families to reinforce progress beyond therapy sessions. Engage in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to sustain a continuum of care amid their treatment journey. Ensure meticulous and punctual documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational standards. Pursue knowledge and growth within the field through ongoing education and collaboration with peers. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) before obtaining ASHA certification. Certifications
Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of employment commencement. Skills
