Cath Lab Technician Location: Fort Walton Beach, FL Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday with additional on-call duties approximately 10 to 12 days a month. Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technician to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in various cardiovascular procedures and ensuring the highest quality of patient care. The position requires a strong background in Cath Lab activities and the ability to effectively use advanced medical equipment. Responsibilities:
Assist with procedures such as PCI, TAVR, and PFO Atherectomy. Operate and maintain cardiac catheterization equipment including GE Innova and Impella. Document patient information accurately in MacLab and Meditech systems. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with hospital policies. Support a safe and sterile environment for patients and staff.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
Current BLS and ACLS certifications. Experience in Cath Lab procedures, including PCI, IABP, Impella, IFR, and FFR. Proven skills in structural heart procedures.
