Registered Nurse - Night & Day Shift This is a 13-week contract position. Will work 3x12-hour rotating shifts: 3 shifts per week on days from 07:00 - 19:00 and 3 shifts per week on nights from 19:00 - 07:30. The position involves providing care to patients in a 21-bed medical-surgical unit focusing on trauma, orthopedic injuries, general surgery, plastic surgery, and elective spine surgeries. The majority of patients will be hemodynamically stable adults and geriatrics. RNs are expected to demonstrate clinical competence in medication administration, patient monitoring, and collaborative care within a multidisciplinary team.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered Manage patient care needs and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams Monitor and document changes in patient conditions Provide emotional support and education to patients and families
Current RN license in South Carolina (or proof of application for license) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience preferred Experience with EPIC charting system is a plus
