Assess patients in either inpatient or outpatient environments and craft personalized treatment plans. Implement physical therapy interventions with a focus on improving mobility, strength, balance, and overall function. Partner with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to achieve optimal results. Educate patients and their families about therapy goals, discharge planning, and necessary home exercises. Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress in compliance with facility and regulatory standards. Engage in care team rounds and interdisciplinary conferences to facilitate coordinated patient care. Education
Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from a recognized institution. Certifications
Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist. CPR certification is preferred. Specialized certifications (e.g., in neurological or geriatric care) are advantageous but not mandatory. Skills
Previous experience is strongly preferred. Aptitude for treating patients with complex medical and mobility challenges. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Proficient use of digital charting and clinical documentation software. Benefits
