Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions targeting communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and family members to ensure an integrated approach to care. Provide education and resources for patients and families aimed at enhancing progress beyond clinical sessions. Conduct inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions as needed, ensuring a seamless continuum of care throughout the treatment process. Document patient progress meticulously to align with state, federal, and organizational standards. Engage in continuous learning opportunities to stay abreast of advancements in the field. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA-certified. Certifications
Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire. Skills
