Conduct thorough patient evaluations, order necessary diagnostic tests, and develop tailored care plans Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, or episodic health conditions either collaboratively with physicians or independently, as per your credentials Provide education to patients and their families on wellness, preventive measures, and disease management strategies Prescribe medications and therapies within the scope of your practice Engage in ongoing patient follow-up and chronic disease management Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to patient care Maintain meticulous and accurate records in electronic medical systems (EMR) Education Background
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Certifications Necessary
Active Nurse Practitioner license in Texas National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or ability to obtain these within 90 days Distinct Skills That Will Shine
A combination of strong clinical skills and a caring bedside manner Exceptional communication abilities with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues Flexibility and adaptability in fast-paced, patient-centered environments Familiarity with EMR systems and comfort with telehealth technologies A commitment to collaborative practice and evidence-based care Benefits of This Role
