The Inventory Analyst will be responsible for providing visibility across raw material and packaging inventory throughout a multi-site supply chain network. The role will focus on improving inventory performance, reducing waste and write-offs, and supporting effective material utilisation across suppliers, warehousing partners, and manufacturing operations. This position offers excellent exposure across supply chain, planning, procurement, and finance functions within a dynamic international environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct detailed inventory analysis including usage trends, slow-moving stock, excess inventory, shortages, and obsolete materials. Identify root causes of inventory issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions. Produce and present inventory reports, KPIs, insights, and recommendations to support operational decision-making. Partner closely with Finance on inventory provisions, write-offs, and inventory-related financial risk assessments. Support inventory optimisation initiatives including material reallocation, stock reduction strategies, and consumption prioritisation. Lead inventory impact assessments for product transitions and discontinuations, ensuring effective run-down strategies are implemented. Manage inventory destruction governance processes, including approvals, tracking, reporting, and root cause analysis. Identify opportunities to rebalance inventory across sites to improve utilisation and minimise waste. Challenge and improve existing planning assumptions relating to order quantities, safety stock levels, and shelf-life management. Work collaboratively with Planning, Procurement, Quality, and Operations teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. 1-2 years' experience within inventory control, material planning, or a related supply chain function. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset. Proven ability to work effectively within a fast-paced and evolving environment. Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail. Understanding of inventory management principles and control techniques. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
